I was sent 38 pieces from lot 4182 (production date June 30, 2024) for my Dec 1, 2025 order. That makes the stock 17 months old, well past their own 12-month recommended shelf-life. The chocolates arrived hard, dull, and nowhere near fresh, especially compared to my November 2025 order, which tasted smooth.
Very disappointed that something this old was shipped out as if it were new stock. I expect better rotation, better quality control, and transparency about product age. It’s shocking that Waterbridge would send expired chocolates during the Christmas season, when most buyers are purchasing them as gifts - meaning the giver may never learn the recipient received stale product.
