Truffle Trouble

Hi. When I opened a box of the dark Belgian extra dark chocolate they looked funny - the dusting on it was not even this making them look “old”. I buy these every year and have not seen this before. I opened another box and the same thing. I bought 6 boxes as gifts and I did not use them because it was embarrassing so I had to go out and buy something else. They did taste good however.
