Good flavour but I think I prefer dark chocolate
As a toddler, I accidentally swallowed a button, once. It had become undone from my nightie and, being of a curious nature, I wanted to taste it. Not only did it taste awful but it got stuck in my throat. No worries, though, as it was small enough that I could still breathe; my parents called the doctor who suggested I be given a few teaspoons of mineral oil to help it pass along instead of trying to pry it out. Luckily, we had some on hand and everything turned out fine.
Needless to say, the next day, my mother took off all unnecessary buttons on all of my nighties.
A cautionary tale, for sure; all of this to say that calling candies "buttons" might sound cute but it gives children the notion that all buttons are edible...
With all of that said...
Waterbridge Chocolate Orange Buttons are the best I ever tasted!
Like most everyone, I was introduced to the world of the pairing of chocolate and orange with Terry's Chocolate Orange but that product is only available during the Holiday Season and tends to fly off the shelves as they are so popular.
On the other hand, Waterbridge's Chocolate Orange Buttons are always available and have just the right balance between the two flavours.
I tried so many others and I can confidently say that some of the other manufacturer's products either have an overwhelming orange artificial-tasting flavour or an unpleasant greasy aftertaste.
So, thank you, Waterbridge, for Chocolate Orange Buttons, another well-balanced delicious treat!
{Note to editor: you can snip out the preamble, if you wish to only keep the Chocolate Orange Buttons' review but I feel it is a serious topic that should be addressed.}
Very good
