someone needs to report this... Licorice Bricks are being replaced with rings... The product is not advertising whats in the package properly.
They are advertising licorice bricks that is a consumer favorite candy and replacing with gummie rings... Its a clear bait and switch to have consumers pay for a premium candy they are not getting.
The packaging false advertises that you are getting it and replaces it with something else without notice.
This faces troubles such as
Canadian Food Inspection Agency - for physical inspection. If an inspector opens a crate and finds cheap, generic candy that does not match the approved label specifications, the entire shipment is flagged, denied entry, or seized.
We chose this variety because of the licorice bricks! Instead there were some rainbow hoop things and no licorice bricks. Very sad, change your packaging to reflect this change!
Your candies never disappoint. It’s going to be our new family tradition at Christmas give a good selection of water bridge candies to my kids and grandkids. My only complaint is I would like to purchase a larger bag of the ponterfract cakes as I love black licorice
I purchased two bags of the Carnival mix today. The first bag we opened has horrible tasting candies inside. My daughter described them as tasting like throw-up. I have no idea what went wrong with this batch, but these are not edible. The smell inside the bag is disgusting. On the other hand, the second bag we opened is perfectly fine! Gummies are soft and delicious, tasting just as they should. I believe there should be recall on this batch as I am not the first person to receive a "bad" batch.
