HOW TO MAKE A WATERBRIDGE CHOCOLATE IRISH COFFEE

In honour of St. Patrick’s Day, we decided to come up with a delicious twist on a traditional boozy drink using Waterbridge chocolate. Of course, what drink could be a better fit for this experiment than a delicious Irish Coffee!
Who Invented Irish Coffee?
According to theIrish Whiskey Museum, Irish coffee was invented in the 1940’s by Joe Sheridan, the head chef at a new restaurant catering to guests at Foynes airport. Supposedly, an American passenger enjoying the drink asked “Is this Brazilian coffee”, Joe replied “No, that’s Irish coffee” and the rest is history!
Making a Waterbridge Chocolate Irish Coffee
What you’ll Need:
- 1 Cup of freshly brewed coffee (250 ML)
- 4 Squares of Waterbridge Chocolate
- 2 Ounces of Irish Cream Liqueur
Yields: One Waterbridge Chocolate Irish Coffee
Prep Time: Under 5 Minutes
- Brew one cup (250 Ounces) of coffee
- Drop chocolate squares in one at a time while coffee is still hot, stir to incorporate
- Add 2 Ounces of Irish Cream liquor to the chocolate coffee mixture, stir to incorporate
- Optional: Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate
